We know that Google is planning to release a new version of its mobile operating system in the near future called Android 4.4 KitKat and now we might have a better idea of what it could look like. GadgetHelpline has posted some leaked pictures of an early Android 4.4 build back when it was still known internally at Google as “Key Lime Pie.” Droid Life points out that there are very few changes to Android’s user interface in the leaked build, which makes sense because the company has already done a lot of work refining the UI through its releases of Android 4.1 through Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Bigger changes noted by Droid Life include enhancements to Android’s photo editor such as “Tilt-Shift, Center Focus, Negative and Posterize effects”; payments and printing options added to the platform’s basic settings; and “a new dialer with bright blue bottom bar and a white or grey top half.” While we have no idea if these changes will stick since they’re from such an early build it’s interesting to see where Google has been thinking of going with its next major Android release.

Pictures of the leaked build follow below.
