The Amazon Kindle e-book reader continues its dominance by now becoming the most gifted item ever on Amazon. Forget the iPod Touch or an ultra-cheap GPS, people bought the $259 Kindle en masse. All those happy recipients of a holiday Kindle fired up their shiny new device and began purchasing e-books, making Christmas day the first day customers purchased more e-books than physical books.
