Are you a frequent flier in need of high-speed laptop connectivity around the world? Is AT&T’s troubled 3G network causing you too much pain here in the US? Do you love hearing distant screams of agony from the accounting department each time you submit an expense report with international roaming charges? Say hello to your new best friend — the ZTE A3700, coming soon to a Verizon Wireless retailer near you. Having just made its way through the FCC approval process, the A3700 makes up for its bulk by sporting nearly every kind of connectivity you might need in your travels. EV-DO, GPRS, EDGE and HSPA, all packed into the ugliest yet most versatile USB modem you’ve ever set eyes on. It’s a bit too early for pricing details but you’re just going to expense it anyway so it doesn’t really matter. As for a formal announcement, perhaps we’ll see this little guy debut at CTIA early next month.
