Did you see the latest Marvel masterpiece this past weekend? If so, you’re now a part of history as the film helped Disney score not one but three records at the box office.

As BGR sister site Variety noted on Sunday, Civil War helped a revitalized Disney crush the prior record for the fastest a movie studio surpassed $1 billion at the box office in a calendar year. As of yesterday, Disney’s box office tally reached $1.121 in just 128 days so far in 2016. The prior record was 168 days.

Disney’s international box office take has now reached $2.22 billion to date, another record, and its global gross climbed to $3.341 billion following the U.S. release of Captain America: Civil War. Both of those figures set new records, surpassing Universal’s haul following last year’s Jurassic World release.

As for Cap’s latest flick, the film’s worldwide gross climbed to $678.4 million this past weekend, which included a $181.1 million debut in the U.S. Internationally, the movie added another $220 million to its tally over the past three days, including a $95.8 million opening weekend in China. That’s the second biggest debut ever for a U.S. movie in China, coming in behind only Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Also of note, total U.S. box office performance is tracking for a record year, with the current $3.856 billion in box office gross nearly 8% ahead of the record pace set in 2015. Disney alone is responsible for $936 million.
