13 movies you need to watch before they leave Netflix in November

Netflix giveth and Netflix taketh away — especially in November. Netflix is adding plenty of great new content to its ever-morphing streaming catalog throughout November, and we told showed you every single movie and TV series season Netflix will add next month in an earlier post. Sadly, there are also plenty of great TV shows and films that are going away in November.

You can check out our earlier post for a list of all the Netflix content expiring over the course of November, but there are some shows and movies that are worth highlighting. Below, you’ll find a list of 13 movies you really need to watch before they vanish next month. Thankfully, you have three full weekend days between now and November 1st so you should have plenty of time to get the job done.

First and foremost, Halloween is next Saturday, October 31st, and there are several solid horror flicks you’ll want to watch before they vanish the very next day, on Sunday, November 1st:

  • Saw (2004)
  • Saw II (2005)
  • Saw III (2006)
  • Saw IV (2007)
  • Saw V (2008)
  • Scream (1996)

Also expiring November 1st are several movies that are far less scary but still worth a watch over the coming week:

  • Fargo (1996)
  • Funny Games (1997)
  • House of Flying Daggers (2004)
  • Rudy (1993)
  • Stand by Me (1986)

The next big loss comes on November 9th:

  • The Road (2011)

And finally, whether or not you’re an Apple fan, you should definitely check this film out before it disappears on November 22nd:

  • Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview (2012)
