Apple on Thursday set September 9th as the official date for its fall 2015 iPhone launch. While Apple’s newest smartphone will be the highlight of its event, we’re expecting to see a lot more from the pride of Cupertino this year than just another phone. Below we’ll go over the biggest things we’re likely to see at Apple’s event on September 9th.

The iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus

These are the twin bells of the ball, although we don’t expect them to look too different from the two smartphones Apple released last year. The most recent leaks indicate both smartphones will feature 12-megapixel cameras that can film 4K video, Apple’s new A9 processor, 2GB of RAM and faster LTE speeds. The new devices are also expected to be the first iPhones to incorporate the Force Touch technology that Apple debuted with the Apple Watch and that will open up more options for users based on how hard they press on the device’s display.;

Both devices will feature the same basic dimensions as last year’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus but they might be slightly thicker to account for Force Touch. That said, we wouldn’t expect a major design overhaul this time around.

The iPad Air 3 and the iPad mini 4

Has any product gone from being revolutionary to being boring as quickly as the iPad? Regardless, Apple is still trying to keep its tablets relevant with another refresh of both its standard iPad Air and its smaller iPad mini tablets.

The iPad mini 4 is the device that’s supposed to get the biggest makeover, as rumors have claimed it’s going to be redesigned to look much more like the iPad Air, complete with a frame that is just 6.3 millimeters thick. That said, we think the really potentially exciting new iPad won’t be coming until later in the year…

The Apple Watch SDK

Weak third-party apps for the Apple Watch have been one of the biggest complaints about the device so far but Apple is hoping to fix that with the release of a full software development kit that will enable developers to make native watch apps that work better than ever.

A completely refreshed Apple TV set-top box

Apple has ambitious plans for the TV market and it’s all going to start with the new Apple TV set-top box. Earlier reports about the new box claim it will feature an A8 processor and a completely redesigned remote control with touch pad input designed to significantly improve its responsiveness. The set-top box will also come with Siri integration to make it easier to control your TV via voice.

What we won’t see on September 9th

There are a lot of Apple products in the pipeline that the company probably won’t show off until a later date. Among them:

  • The 12.9-inch “iPad Pro” that Apple will push as a competitor to Microsoft’s Surface line of tablet-PC hybrids.
  • The iPhone 6c, which is rumored to be a smaller version of Apple’s flagship iPhone lineup. Apple is apparently going to keep selling the iPhone 5s to interested buyers for at least a little while longer.
  • A subscription TV service to go with the Apple TV set-top box. This is something we hope to see next year but it sounds like Apple is still trying to hammer out licensing agreements with content providers for it.
