Jurassic World
was a smash hit at the box office and has surpassed $1.52 billion in ticket sales, enough to make it the third highest grossing film of all time as it zipped past The Avengers. Unsurprisingly, Universal decided a sequel is in order for the dinosaur flick, and it’s already scheduled for a summer release three years from now.
On June 22nd, 2018, you’ll see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard star in a new Jurassic movie, though its final title hasn’t been announced yet.

According to BGR sister site Variety, Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, will also return for the sequel. He will co-write the new movie with Derek Connolly.
Steven Spielberg will produce the upcoming Jurassic sequel through his Amblin Entertainment movie production company. Other details about the movie aren’t known at this time, but it’s safe to say we’ll see plenty of scary dinosaurs chasing around plenty of terrified people.
