We don’t know a lot about the Galaxy Note 5 right now, although knowing Samsung we’re confident that the device will come with top-of-the-line specifications. PhoneArena points us to a a new report from Chinese website Zol.com.cn that claims the device will not only come with a giant 5.9-inch 2K Super AMOLED display and a 4,100mAh battery but also a USB Type-C port as well. Earlier rumors have claimed the device will feature an updated octa-core Exynos 7422 processor to go along with its powerful battery and giant 2K display.

USB Type-C ports, for those of you who don’t know, are the future of USB ports. The reason they’re better than traditional USB ports is that you can use them for a lot more. The new MacBook’s USB 3.1 port, for instance, delivers the device’s power, USB data transfer, HDMI and VGA capabilities. USB ports are also fully reversible, so you’ll never have to worry about plugging your USB cable in the wrong way again.
Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Note 5 at this year’s IFA in Berlin in September, right around the time Apple will likely unveil its new iPhone 6s Plus phablet.
