We already know that it will be possible to make reservations to try on the Apple Watch at your nearest Apple Store in April but it sounds like anyone interested in buying the 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition will get to reserve 30-minute appointments that will be twice as long as other Apple Watch-related appointments will last.

MacRumors spotted this particular detail in a new report from International Business Times that claimed “the standard appointment will be 15 minutes, but the company will offer an additional 15 minutes of try-on time to shoppers who express interest in the most expensive Apple Watch Edition versions.”
Of course, it makes some sense that Apple would do more to cater to customers who are willing to shell out up to $17,000 on an Apple Watch Edition since these customers are potentially hugely profitable compared to the proles who will be buying the cheaper versions of the watch.
And indeed, MacRumors also writes that “Apple is said to have a dedicated group of employees that have undergone special training serving customers who are buying the Apple Watch Edition.”
So if you have enough cash to buy an Apple Watch Edition, you’ll be getting the first-class treatment at your local Apple Store while the other poor schlubs will be stuck in coach.
