The Apple Watch will be launching within the next couple months and naturally one thing everyone wants to know is how it will interact with your iPhone. 9to5Mac has uncovered some new details found in the newest iOS 8.2 beta that show us how the iPhone’s official Apple Watch mobile app will work.

The most important feature is the home screen sharing app that lets you manage and organize your Apple Watch apps from your iPhone. This essentially creates a copy of your Apple Watch’s home display on your iPhone and lets you use it to change your Apple Watch’s main interface.

Other key features found by 9to5Mac include support for sending messages via voice that will either make text transcriptions or send audio files; enabling turn-by-turn directions on your Apple Watch via your iPhone; options for setting up passcodes for your Apple Watch; and ways to use your Apple Watch companion app to activate key fitness features on the device.

Our quick summary hasn’t done justice to 9to5Mac’s full report, which is very thorough and well worth your time. Check it out at the source link below.
