For many of us, it has become a natural impulse to head straight to Amazon when we’re looking for the cheapest prices online, but according to the latest data from ShopSavvy, one big-box retailer is stepping up to provide even better deals.

Based on ShopSavvy’s database of holiday pricing info, Walmart “has the cheaper option on over 50% more products than Amazon and Best Buy, across all categories analyzed.”

On the rare occasion that Amazon, Best Buy or another retailer is offering a better price on a product, Walmart has implemented a price match policy that will allow users to get the same deal at its store.

Unfortunately, there are those who have attempted to take advantage of this consumer-facing policy with dubious tricks, but that hasn’t stopped others from saving through legitimate means.

To get a better idea of just how much better the prices are at Walmart on average, be sure to take a look at the infographic that ShopSavvy put together. It perfectly illustrates how dominate Walmart’s lead over the competition is in nearly every category on the market. Of course, the actual prices aren’t listed, but whether the difference is in pennies or dollars, it never hurts to save.
