Samsung is expected to soon unveil the Galaxy Alpha, a 4.7-inch Android smartphone that’s supposed to take on the upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 6. While the smartphone is not official, it’s specs have already been leaked and have shown that the Galaxy Alpha won’t be a Galaxy S5 version hidden in a smaller body. We’ve also seen a couple of image leaks that have shown us what the device will have to offer in terms of design. Furthermore, Phone Arena has uncovered more model numbers for the Galaxy Alpha, which suggest at least two U.S. versions of the handset are inbound.

The Galaxy Alpha’s model number is SM-G850F, according to recent leaks, and PhoneArena has discovered user agent profiles on Samsung’s website for related numbers. The SM-G850A is believed to be the AT&T Galaxy Alpha, while the SM-G850T could be the T-Mobile version.

Other models spotted on Samsung’s website include SM-G850H and SM-G850M. The SM-G850H and SM-G850F are believed to be international versions of the handset, but it’s not clear what the SM-G850M stands for.

All these devices sport 1280 x 720 displays and run Android 4.4 KitKat according to the information in their profiles. Two processor versions have been spotted, one clocked at 2.5GHz, and one clocked at 2.3GHz.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Alpha on August 13th, at which point more launch details and prices will be available for the handset. Meanwhile, a U.K. online handset seller is already taking preorders for the Galaxy Alpha.
