If you want a new Android phone but aren’t interested in either the Galaxy S5 or the HTC One (M8) then you might want to check out LG’s upcoming G3 flagship device. Digital Trends has scored some leaked pictures showing off the G3’s revamped home screen that the publication says features “flatter and brighter icons, a revamped weather widget with built-in suggestions, a much cleaner looking notifications screen, and circular icons.”
In addition to the leaked home screen pictures, Digital Trends also lays out some cool-sounding new software features LG is planning to add to the G3, such as the Concierge feature that will give you suggestions on your home screen for how to dress given current weather forecasts; a Favorite Contacts panel that gives you quick access to the people you call and text with the most; and a revamped notification center that goes for a flatter, simpler look that Apple switched to last summer with the launch of iOS 7.
This isn’t the only big G3 leak to break on Tuesday, either: PhoneArena has spotted specs for a device that looks like the G3 on Sprint’s website. The device in question features a quad-HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 16-megapixel camera.
