A new image leak from China shows what is claimed to be the front panel from the bigger iPhone 6, suggesting once again that Apple’s next iPhone will be the first to offer a significantly bigger display, a major departure from Apple’s iPhone design policy so far. Discovered on Chinese social network Weibo by iPhonote, the image seems to show a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 placed next to a 4-inch iPhone 5s.

This leaked front panel suggests the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be both taller and wider than its predecessor. Other iconic iPhone design elements including the Home button, earpiece, front camera and sensors can also be seen.

The image is the latest in a series of leaks from China that have revealed potential components required to manufacture the device. Manufacturing molds for the iPhone 6 have also shown that the device will be bigger than the iPhone 5s, with one mold suggesting a 4.7-inch display size for the handset.

Apple is expected to launch bigger iPhone models this year, with two models detailed in recent reports, including a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch model, which should be launched in late Q3 and late Q4, respectively.
