It’s that time of year again, folks. With Macworld quickly approaching and the promise of new Apple products looking heavily in the air, the rumor mill is hard at work. The most consistent rumor is that Apple will be releasing some sort of sub-notebook computer (but you already knew that). We’re not going to throw our hat in the ring on this one just yet, but a number of different sources are reporting that Apple is going to unveil a miniature MacBook known called the MacBook Air. There are banners up already at the Expo site that sport the phrase “There’s Something in the Air.” There’s even mumblings around the web that this new Macbook could sport wireless charging and wireless peripherals. On top of that, 9to5Mac is reporting that they’ve managed to uncover a Google Cache record of a computer labeled as…you guessed it…MacBook Air. Smoke and mirrors or a sign of things to come? We’ll have to wait and see.
