Gigabyte at CES 2014 unveiled a new gaming laptop that’s very thin and light considering it packs two NVIDIA GTX 765M SLI graphics cards under the hood. The 17.3-inch Aorus X7 has a height of just 0.9 inches (22.9mm), and weighs 6.9 pounds (2.9kg). By comparison, Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has a height of 0.71 inches (18mm) and weighs 4.46 pounds (2.0kg). To keep the Aorus X7 cool, Gigabyte has designed a system that includes five thermal pipes, four vents and two fans, while giving gamers manual control over the fans with three customizable profiles.

Other Aorus X7 specs include a Full HD (1080p) display, fourth-gen Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor, up to 32GB of RAM, up to three hard drive slots that can take two SSDs up to 512GB each and a 2.5-inch HDD up to 1TB, Killer Lan chip, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, USB 3.0 and HDMI support, two 2-watt speakers and two woofers, which make it a gaming machine users will enjoy. The Aorus X7 will start selling in March, for $2,099 to $2,799 depending on configuration.

Additionally, the company has also announced a few gaming accessories including the Thunder M7 mouse with 16 programmable buttons, the Thunder K7 keyboard and Thunder M7 headphones that offer true 5.1 Surround Sound, and has created a Steam Machine prototype of its own.
