8 megapixels? Puh-leeze. While companies like Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and Nokia continue work on 8 megapixel camera phones, Sharp is kicking things up a notch in the Asian region. Definitely falling into the “phone-camera” category, the AQUOS SHOT 933SH will debut on Japan’s Softbank Mobile at the end of this month with a release in US to follow… Never. While we won’t be seeing the handset on this side of the globe any time soon, we can still drool over the 10 megapixel shooter sitting behind a flip-and-swivel 3.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display. In any event, the camera phone bar has been raised and until Sony Ericsson’s Idou materializes and wows us all, Sharp’s 933SH could be the camera to beat.
