BGR exclusively reported details earlier this year about HTC’s (2498) upcoming 5-inch smartphone with a 1080p HD display. The device is said to be equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4G LTE, Sense 5 and support for the company’s Scribe stylus. HTCSource on Saturday reaffirmed these specs and reported that the handset may come to market as the DROID Incredible X featuring a pixel density of 480 ppi. The device is also said to include 1.5GB of RAM, a non-removable battery and 16GB of internal storage, although HTC has reportedly decided to omit a microSD card slot. It should also be noted, however, that earlier benchmarks have suggested that the device will be powered by a dual-core MSM8960T Snapdragon S4 processor and feature a pixel density of only 418ppi. The HTC DROID Incredible X is expected to be released this fall on Verizon Wireless (VZ).
