With just over a month before Apple (AAPL) is set to unveil its next-generation iPhone, the flurry of leaks will only grow over the coming weeks. We have already seen the housing for the new “iPhone 5” examined on video, twice, and we recently saw the slim new front panel that will cover the iPhone’s 4-inch display compared to the iPhone 4S on film as well. Now, purported images of Apple’s new nano-SIM tray have been published on French blog Nowhereelse.fr along with photos of the next iPhone’s home button. These, as well as other parts that have leaked thus far, have been made smaller to allow Apple to drastically reduce the thickness of the new iPhone. BGR confirmed last month that the sixth-generation iPhone will employ a new, smaller nano-SIM in place of the current micro-SIM used in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Apple’s iPhone is also expected to feature 1GB of RAM, 4G LTE and NFC connectivity when it is announced on September 12th. Additional images of the next-generation iPhone’s nano-SIM tray and home button follow below.
