As if we didn’t know already, that the best phones always drop first elsewhere. (Except that phone, of course) T-Mobile Germany has just announced the HTC Kaiser, cleverly nicknamed the MDA Vario III. The phone will be available sometime in late August for an unknown number of Euros. The Kaiser’s specs are virtually unchanged, with the Vario III still sporting the 3 megapixel camera, HSUPA, Wi-Fi, and that fantastic sliding, tilting keyboard. Could an American AT&T launch be on the horizon? Who knows, but at least we’ll be able to import them for a hefty fee. Sorry BG, but your “cool kid on the block” status is rapidly expiring.
