No, it’s not going to be enough to appease prospective iPhone 6s owners entirely, but Apple has finally bumped up the capacity of its paid iCloud storage tiers at no additional cost. If you’re already signed up for iCloud storage, you were automatically upgraded on September 16th, but for everyone else, keep reading to see how the new pricing shakes out.

Here are the new tiers, in order of price:
- 50GB of cloud storage for $0.99/month
- 200GB of cloud storage for $2.99/month
- 1TB of cloud storage for $9.99/month
You might notice that the 500GB option has been eliminated entirely, but the 1TB option has dropped $10 in its place. Those who subscribed to the 500GB tier will automatically be transferred to 1TB (presumably so that they won’t lose any data in the process), but monthly subscribers who don’t need that much data can always drop down a tier.
As for yearly subscribers, Apple says that “you’ll continue to renew annually at that rate,” but if you decide to dump it in favor of a monthly plan in the future, you won’t be able to receive the same offer again. Choose wisely!
Sadly, the free storage tier is still locked at 5GB.
