With late-night TV legend David Letterman on his way out, Tina Fey decided to commemorate her final appearance on his show by declaring that it would be the last time she ever made a public appearance in a fancy dress. In future appearances on talk shows, Fey claimed she would be dressed much more casually than the way she traditionally dressed on Letterman’s Late Show.

In fact, Fey then went one step further and took off her dress and revealed an undergarment that read “Bye Dave” on the front and “Last dress ever” on the back. She then donated it to Letterman as a going away present.
Needless to say, he seemed happy with his retirement gift.
