As we’ve mentioned before, you shouldn’t buy things at the Apple Store on Black Friday if you’re expecting a bargain. AppleInsider reports that Apple’s Black Friday gift card program is back this year, as it once again seems that Apple won’t be offering any in-store Black Friday discounts on its products.

FROM LAST YEAR: A dark Black Friday for Apple fans

“Purchasing any of Apple’s iPhone lineup — including the iPhone 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus — will net a $50 gift card, though they are limited to two gift cards per household,” writes AppleInsider. “iPad buyers will receive the same with the same restriction, while consumers bringing home an iPod nano or iPod touch will have a $25 gift card added.”

Additionally, buying Beats headphones will net you a $25 gift card while buying a Mac will net you a $100 gift card. The cards themselves can be spent at the iTunes Store, the Mac App Store, the iOS App Store, or the iBooks Store.

This is very similar to last year’s setup, which featured gift cards that ranged from $25 with the purchase of an iPod nano and $50 with the purchase of an iPod touch, to $75 with an iPad Air buy and $150 with the purchase of an iMac all-in-one or a MacBook series laptop.

Luckily, you don’t have to go to an Apple Store to get great deals on Apple products this Black Friday. Be sure to check out our guide on to where to buy the iPhone 6 on Friday and to visit our Black Friday 2014 hub to find all the best deals this holiday shopping season.
