You might have already read all those first iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus reviews that are basically saying Apple’s latest iPhones are bigger and better than previous models and their respective rivals. You might have also already seen hilarious reactions from real people who were shown fake or dummy iPhone 6 units long before Apple actually unveiled the device. But now, Re/code has gone out with its actual iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units, asking real people what they think about the new smartphones.
The publication received all sorts of reactions, with some people saying the iPhone 6 models look like Samsung devices, or that the iPhone 6 Plus seems to be similar to an iPad. Some appreciated the size and weight of the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone model, while others said the iPhone 6 Plus might be too big for their taste, even wondering whether the device’s design could cause more accidental drops. A pocketability test was performed, and one smartphone user wondered whether the on-screen keyboard of the iPhone 6 could offer a better experience than his BlackBerry’s physical keyboard.
Apple will start selling the iPhone 6 models in stores on Friday, with people already camping out to buy the company’s hottest phones to date.
