Apple’s next big iOS 8 announcement: Widgets have finally arrived… but not quite where we were expecting them. As unveiled on stage at WWDC 2014, Apple is going to allow you to place widgets inside the Notification Center. Any third party apps you have installed on your iOS 8 phone or tablet will be able to define how the widgets function. You can delete or rearrange any widgets you have installed from the Today screen. There weren’t a huge amount of widgets on display, but we did get to see eBay, SportsCenter and Stocks in action.
