It seems that we now have enough iPad mini intel to make a highly educated guess about what  Apple’s (AAPL) smaller tablet will look like. Based on leaked die cast molds and cases, MacRumors commissioned a set of 3D iPad mini renders to give fans an idea of proportion and size. As can be seen in the video below, the smaller iPad has a 7.85-inch display, thinner side bezels and a smaller dock connector port that would fit right at home in Apple’s mobile lineup. The iPad mini is rumored to only have a display with a 1024 x 768 resolution and to come in 3G/4G LTE models. Apple is expected to announce the iPad mini at a separate event in October with a launch before the end of the year.
