Feeling underpaid for all your hard work? “Spammer-X” isn’t. He used to be one of the people responsible for filling up your inbox with all kinds of goodies, from t*ee$ns to v!agr@. He has a book out, called Inside the Spam Cartel, which is now being used by many law-enforcement professionals as a guide to help combat these wicked folk. In it, he describes spending 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, trying to fool spam filters in an effort to get those e-mails to you. At up to $15k a week, he sure got paid well for his effort. He says he got out of the industry because it was getting uncomfortable telling people what he did for a living. Gee…ya think?
