A home theatre in a box from Bang and Olufsen, you say? But I thought they made quality component A/V systems? So did we, but the B&O guys seem to be bucking the norm’ like a bull in a fight. The BeoVision 7 isn’t your college dorm room’s all in one system. This baby is high class all the way, featuring a 40″ flat panel HDTV, 7.1 surround sound, an amplifier, and a DVD player (though sadly no Hi-Def media support). The included stand features a motorized swivel system that allows you to pivot the TV to your hearts content. Beautiful as it is, the lack of an HD-DVD or Blu-ray player, combined with the whopping price tag of $13,500 means that this will most likely find itself filling a very small market niche. Even so, it’s an appealing attempt to create a viable, classy, all in one system.
