Will anything surprise us about the iPhone 6 when it releases this year? Nowhereelse.fr has posted yet another leaked picture showing a mockup of the silver iPhone 6, although this new picture is of much higher quality than the leaked pictures of the silver iPhone 6 mockup that we reported on last week. The picture shows a device whose power button has been moved from the top to the side just as we’ve seen in previous leaks, although it’s hard to tell from the angle of the picture whether the new mockup has the more curved edges we’ve seen in other iPhone 6 leaks.
Once again, this new leak appears of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model and not the larger 5.5-inch model that will likely release a little later in the year. Earlier leaks have claimed that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will measure in at 67 millimeters wide, 138 millimeters long and 6 millimeters thick, which would not only make it the largest iPhone ever released but the slimmest as well — for comparison, consider that the iPhone 5s features a frame that is 123.8 millimeters long, 58.6 millimeters wide and 7.6 millimeters thick.
We shouldn’t expect to see the new iPhone or any new Apple device until the fall, however. WWDC 2014 looks like it’s going to be exclusively be about software this year with the unveiling of both iOS 8 and a new version of OS X that will apparently take some cues from iOS.
