Samsung plans to launch half a dozen different variations on its popular Galaxy S4 smartphone this year, and another new version was seemingly just pictured for the first time. Samsung is reportedly working on a new handset dubbed Galaxy S4 Zoom that is more “phone camera” than “camera phone,” and it may debut next week during Samsung’s press conference on June 20th. The device reportedly features a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, Android Jelly Bean, and a 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom and image stabilization, and SamMobile recently published what it claims to be a render of the handset. Another blog, TechTastic, has published what it says are actual photos of the Galaxy S4 Zoom. As expected on a smartphone with 10x optical zoom, the device appears to be very thick with an extremely large lens enclosure. Other details are a mystery for the time being, but it looks like Samsung and Nokia are set to duke it out this summer over the claim to the best camera phone in the world. Several leaked images follow below.
