The International Trade Commission has announced that it will review a key decision in the patent fight between Samsung (005930) and Apple (AAPL). The U.S. agency was persuaded by Samsung to review an earlier ruling that found the company had infringed upon four of Apple’s patents. Part of the dispute will be sent back to ITC Judge Thomas Pender for him to address specific issues on two of the patents Samsung was found to infringe in October, Bloomberg reported. Judge Pender previously recommended the agency ban Samsung from importing its products into the U.S. that were found to violate Apple’s protected technology. A final decision was scheduled for March 27th, however it will be pushed back until the review has been finalized.
