If you were one of the hundreds of thousands of people who pre-ordered an iPad from Apple, you might want to check your email inbox because Apple is now sending out shipment notifications. Not supposed to be delivered before April 3rd, it’s not entirely unthinkable that a confused driver might accidentally make someone an internet celebrity with an early delivery. Then again, most of the iPads are being sent by UPS, so it seems way more likely that a hell of a lot of iPads will show up late or smashed to smithereens. Missed your chance to pre-order and don’t mind looking quite the fool just so you can brag about being an early adopter? Then dig out your sleeping bag and pack some snacks because your only hope is camping out at one of the nearly 700 Best Buy’s with an Apple Shop or an Apple store. Just make sure you bring a tiny first aid kit, because each Best Buy store is only going to have 5 of each model (15 total) on hand. Things could turn nerd-nasty.
