If you want a Nexus 5 in your hands before Christmas, this might very well be your last chance. Google’s new Nexus 5 was one of the most hotly anticipated handsets of the year among smartphone enthusiasts, and initial inventory sold out almost instantly when the device debuted back in late October. It wasn’t terribly surprising, though — in our review we called the Nexus 5 the only phone Android fans should care about this holiday season. The handset has been in and out of stock since then, giving Android users who weren’t quick enough on the draw brief windows here and there to finally get their hands on a Nexus 5. Well, Android fans, another window just opened. The Google Play store was recently updated and at least for the time being, new orders placed for either the black or white 32GB model ship within 1-2 days. There’s no telling how long the new inventory will last, and those looking for the cheaper 16GB model will still have to wait between 2 and 4 weeks before new orders ship.
