While it may lack the hype that surrounds competitors including the iPhone 6 or the Galaxy S6, Motorola’s Moto X should still be included on the short list of high-end smartphones that buyers should check out before choosing a new handset. The company has already launched two models, and a third-gen Moto X should be unveiled at some point later this year.
Even though the company has yet to announce any details about it, STJS claims to have had access to the specs of the 2015 model.

According to a spreadsheet screenshot image published on the site, the Moto X (2015) has a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of memory, a 16-megapixel Clear Pixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,280 mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
There’s nothing official about the new Moto X at this point though, and these supposed specs may change, even though they might make sense for a 2015 flagship Android handset – the LG G4, for example, has a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.
The new Moto X is expected to launch in August or September, according to what Motorola president Rick Osterloh said in late March on Twitter.
The leaked spreadsheet listing these alleged next-generation Moto X specs follows below.
