Mad Men
has been one of the best things on TV over the last decade and this year the story of Don, Peggy, Pete, Joan and the gang will come to its conclusion. AMC on Thursday posted a teaser trailer for Mad Men’s final season and it seems to hint that the show could make a surprising time jump to the mid-’70s.

What’s our evidence for this? Well, a noticeably balding Pete is also flashing some serious ’70s-era sideburns and the fashion sense shown in the short trailer certainly matches the hideous tackiness of the decade of disco. Additionally, the song that accompanies the trailer is Diana Ross’s “Love Hangover,” which came out in 1976.
