A video has surfaced showing the usually soft-spoken CEO of HTC (2498) in a different light. Pete Chou took the stage at a company-sponsored end of the year party and excited employees with chants of “H-T-C! H-T-C!” The executive even chanted the name M7, which is rumored to be the codename for the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, and even used the device to take pictures of the crowd, according to Chinese website cnYES. The M7 is said to be equipped with a 4.7-inch 1080p full HD displayed, 1.7GHz quad-core processor and a 13-megapixel camera. The flagship smartphone is also believed to include 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC and 2,300 mAh battery. HTC is expected to announced the M7 at a press event in New York City on February 19th. A video of Chou and the M7 follows below.
