LG just won’t stop and we’re loving every minute of it. The name CYON will likely stay local to Korea but call it whatever you want, this latest handset preview from LG is an absolute stunner. The LH2300 will be marketed as a ‘Touch Web’ phone and although we only have a few media pics, it appears to handle full web quite nicely. It better, with all of that display real estate! We’re talking of course, about the 3-inch touchscreen with a fantastic 800 x 480 pixel resolution. Here’s what we know:
- GSM / 3G
- T-DMB mobile TV receiver
- Bluetooth 2.0
- microSD (presumably with SDHC support)
- 3 megapixel camera with face recognition and anti-shake, second front-facing camera
- Jog wheel for fast scrolling
The handset will employ the new “Hello” UI and it’s set to drop next month, initially in the Korean market only. The price point is pretty hefty at $600, but it looks pretty clear that this baby has the goods to back it up. A word of warning to LG: If you bring the LH2300 to CTIA, we cannot be held responsible if it ‘mysteriously’ goes missing.
