Searching for flights via Google Flight has instantly become more informative and useful. Thanks to a recently inked deal with Routehappy, Google Flight users will now be able to see which upcoming flights have Wi-Fi options available while also being able to compare flights based on other “happiness” variables such as leg room, in-seat power, and more.

“We know people are looking for more information about the flights they’re taking before they buy, so integrating Routehappy Happiness Factors is a great addition to Google Flights,” Google’s Gianni Marostica said in a press release. “Now even more people have access to comprehensive flight amenity data and useful flight search information.”

Sometimes, a comfortable and relaxing flight can be all the difference in getting a trip off on the right foot. While price is always a key factor in selecting a flight, having access to additional flight details like Wi-Fi availability will ensure that travelers can make truly informed decisions.

As a quick illustrative example, I did a quick Google Flight search for a New York to Paris trip. As you can see, details about the flight are listed to the right of the standard flight data. This feature could prove particularly useful for business travelers who may have more of a need for in-flight Wi-Fi as opposed to, say, on-demand video options.
