Meet the three boxes that will transform your apartment into a swinging Google Fiber pad

 Dave Greenbaum is once again on the ground in Missouri to check out some of the gear that will help Kansas City’s wild and crazy guys transform their bachelor pads into go-to destinations with Google Fiber Internet and television connectivity. In short, the Google (GOOG) Fiber gear consists of three boxes: a Network Box that provides fiber connectivity to your home and that features four Gigabit-Ethernet ports; a Storage Box that provides 2 terabytes of space to stash recorded television shows and other large data files; and a TV Box that provides connectivity to Google Fiber’s television channels. Greenbaum says that taken together, these three boxes will mean “a few hours of an install… that will give users some of the fastest internet in the country and a wide array of TV options.”
