Samsung’s (005930) supersized Galaxy Note II smartphone is just getting off the ground here in the United States, but global sales have already reached a huge milestone. The company announced on Friday that in just over one month, global sales of the Galaxy Note II have reached 3 million units. Samsung did not clarify whether the figure refers to channel sales or end-user sales. The “phablet” first launched 37 days ago and in our review, we said the Galaxy Note II is better than its predecessor in almost every way. Samsung’s Galaxy Note II features a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and enhanced stylus support, and it is available starting at $299.99 in the U.S.
