Galaxy Note 5 Retail Box Photos Leak

In just a few days, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge during a special Unpacked media event in New York City. Until then, we get to look at what seems to be the best Galaxy Note 5 leak yet, as the device has been photographed in the wild complete with retail box, which lists several specs of the handset.

The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus are apparently making the rounds of retail locations, as Samsung is demoing its upcoming smartphones to potential partners.

The images below show a Galaxy Note 5 device that’s mostly similar to the Galaxy S6 family of handsets – something previous image leaks have also suggested.

When it comes to specs, a Reddit user who was in such a meeting with Samsung execs revealed the phone will come with 32GB of built-in memory (the cheapest version) and won’t feature a microSD slot. He added that the new Galaxy Note phablet has a push-to-pop S Pen stylus ejecting mechanism.

The purported Galaxy Note 5 retail box lists several other specs, including a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, 64-bit octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and wireless charging.

Reddit user joelrtaveras also said that the Galaxy Note 5 feels better in hand, as the tapered back “really ‘shrunk’ the size” of the device. The handset is slightly thicker than the iPhone 6 Plus, but it’s shorter and narrower, featuring a much better weight distribution.

Images of the Galaxy Note 5 from these new leaks follow below – check the source link for more details about this first unofficial Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus hands-on experience.
