Technology evolves faster now than it ever has before, and perhaps no better area of consumer electronics better illustrates that than cell phones. BGR’s recent feature on reinventing the Motorola RAZR shows just how dramatically cell phone technology has evolved, and that transition took place only over the past seven years. Japanese wireless carrier NTT DoCoMo recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a showcase illustrating the evolution of the cell phone over the past 25 years and designboom was on hand to capture the great exhibit. A video and a few images follow below, but the entire 25-year visual history can be seen on designboom’s site.
