The folks over at WMExperts.com seem to think so! This information is based on various bits of unconfirmed sleuthing, so don’t take it as anything more than conjecture just yet. That being said, they certainly seem to have something. Pointing to the presence of a Video Share icon in the hacked version of AT&T’s Windows Mobile 6 Blackjack ROM that has been floating around the net for a while, they think that ROM’s official release will be timed to coincide with the nationwide Video Share service rollout in late July. The service is currently available in 3 test markets, and there’s been no mention of Blackjack support thus far. That makes sense given the handset’s lack of a front facing camera, but Video Share doesn’t necessarily need a front cam to function, and the service is currently supported on two other Samsung handsets, the CU500v and the A717. We’ll be the first to admit that we’re rather skeptical of the prospects for Blackjack Video Share support, but a late July release of a Windows Mobile 6 update doesn’t seem quite as far fetched. Stay tune for more info as it surfaces.
