It’s not surprising since we told you this would be the case, but today Canada’s Rogers Wireless today announced the immediate availability of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G and Acer Liquid e. While they’re both obviously quite different handsets in that the Liquid e runs Android 2.1 and that the Pearl 3G is, well, a BlackBerry, both are available for $49.99 on contract and $424.99 off. The question is: Do you prefer a BlackBerry with SureType keypad and 3.2 megapixel camera, or Snapdragon-powered Android smartphone with a 5 megapixel camera? Decisions, decisions.
