Images and a video of Research In Motion’s (RIMM) first BlackBerry 10-powered smartphone were published by multiple websites on Monday, shedding new light on RIM’s next-generation smartphone. The upcoming BlackBerry handset, which is code-named “London” and was initially set to launch in the third quarter this year before being delayed until early 2013, features a full touchscreen and an 1,800 mAh battery. Other details are not clear at this time. New applications shown on the home screen in the leaked image published by CrackBerry include RIM’s updated BBM app for BlackBerry 10 as well as Facebook, a new Maps app and a program called Story Maker, which appears to be a video editor.
