If you’re the kind of BlackBerry fan who has been clinging to your old-school BlackBerry Bold for years because you don’t like some of the changes that the company made with BlackBerry 10, you may want to give the company’s newest device a look. BlackBerry announced on Thursday that you can now preorder the BlackBerry Classic, the throwback device that the company hopes will reel in some longtime users who have either gone to rival platforms or who are still using older BlackBerry devices.

“BlackBerry Classic is built for you, our customers,” the company explains. “BlackBerry Classic is built for serious communicators, for those who need to be productive, to be busy and to get things done.”
With the Classic, BlackBerry brought back some of the key features that were missing from the company’s early physical keyboard-equipped BlackBerry 10 devices, including the function keys and trackpad that longtime BlackBerry users said that they missed.
The Classic will officially launch on December 17th so if you preorder now chances are you’ll have to wait a little more than a month before the device actually shows up at your door.
