Apple’s online store goes down ahead of iPhone 5 announcement

You know the drill… In case you weren’t convinced that Apple (AAPL) actually has new products to announce during today’s press conference, the company’s online store has been taken offline as Apple makes changes to accommodate the new gadgets it unveils today. The iPhone 5 will be announced, of course, and we’re also expecting new iPods, new accessories and maybe even a refreshed Mac or two. Apple’s press conference begins at 1:00 p.m. EDT, 10:00 a.m. PDT, so be sure to tune in to BGR for all the news as it breaks.
