So far we’ve seen a lot about how Apple’s (AAPL) feud with Samsung (005930) has hurt the Cupertino-based company’s supply chain capabilities, as it has had trouble so far in keeping up with demand for both the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini. But now it seems that Samsung might be starting to hurt as well, because unnamed sources have told DigiTimes that the company has delayed construction of a new logic fabrication facility “due to the possibility of losing a portion of orders for Apple’s next-generation application chips.” Last month the Korea Times reported that Samsung plans on terminating its contract to supply Apple with LCD panels and that it hopes to make up for the lost revenue by shipping more LCD panels to its own electronics division and to Amazon (AMZN).
