We’re all familiar now with all of the major new features that Google announced with Android L, including a new actionable notifications center, the new Material Design feature that will bring a more unified user interface, and compatibility with 64-bit hardware. However, there were a ton of features that Google added with Android L that didn’t get mentioned, although the company did put up a quick graphic toward the end of its presentation that listed them all.
Happily for us, Redditor axehomeless has taken the time to copy down every single feature shown on Google’s presentation graphic and present them to us as a handy list. Among the features that intrigue us most are the ones that relate to battery life. Google has smartly realized that smartphone users really prize having top-notch battery life on their phones and has made adding new features to Android that improve battery life a priority. In Android L, Google has added improved battery stats, the predicted time remaining you have on your battery, a “battery historian,” battery saver mode and the time it will take to charge your smartphone on your lock screen.
There are plenty of other awesome features in Android L that Google didn’t mention and you should really check out axehomeless’s full list by clicking the source link below.
