Apple is unsurprisingly not keen on the International Trade Commission’s impending import ban on older iPhone and iPad models. Per AppleInsider, the company has asked the ITC to put a stay on the ban on the AT&T versions of the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3, iPad 3G and iPad 2 3G for allegedly infringing upon a Samsung-held patent. Apple wants the ITC to hold off on the ban until its appeal is heard by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where the company will challenge the validity of Samsung’s patent. If the ITC doesn’t issue a stay of the ban and if the White House doesn’t veto the ITC’s decision, then the import ban will go into effect on August 5th.
